CORK PUB CRAWL

CORK PUB CRAWL

Cork, the second-largest city in the Republic of Ireland, is situated near the sea and has a rich maritime history. It is where the first steamship to cross the Atlantic was built, and it is also home to the world's oldest yacht club, established in 1720.

Furthermore, Cork's harbour is widely regarded as the second-largest natural harbour in the world, after Sydney Harbour in Australia.

Given the city's deep connection to the ocean, it is no surprise that Cork is home to a lot of thirsty seamen. Thank goodness that Cork has an abundance of charming pubs to quench the thirst of weary sailors after long journeys. And in this pub crawl, you will get to explore a few of these fantastic pubs.

We hope that you enjoy the pub crawl and let us know what you think via our social media channels.

THE PUBS

SIN É

Upon entering this bar, you will likely be struck by the overwhelming amount of decorations adorning the walls. Some may find the busy decor a bit too much, but we are definitely part of the group that loves it. It is a feast for the eyes and adds to the overall character of the bar.

THE HI-B BAR

This pub is all about "the craic", as the Irish say. You will notice signs throughout the bar encouraging patrons to put away their phones and engage with one another instead. It is a fantastic message, and we encourage you to follow it. Embrace the lively atmosphere and strike up a conversation with your fellow pub-goers. It is all part of the fun and experience!

MUTTON LANE INN

Walking down the street where this pub is located, you may get the impression that it is situated in a more hipster part of the city. However, once you step inside, you will be transported to a classic, old-school Irish pub. The contrast between the trendy exterior and the traditional interior of the pub is a great sight.

THE CASTLE INN

The Castle Inn is one of the most popular pubs in all of Cork, and it is not hard to see why. Unlike many of the other pubs in the city, its interior is characterized by brighter lighting and extensive use of wood to decorate the walls. The overall effect is a welcoming and inviting space that is perfect for enjoying a pint or two.

THE OVAL

The Oval is a nicely decorated pub. The darkness inside only adds to the overall warm and inviting atmosphere. We highly recommend a visit to this fantastic pub during your time in Cork.
